1.1
Initiates Test
Every
recruit will be required to take an initiates test, you will be graded
on your performance during the test from 1 to 5, if you receive a score
of 0, you will not be awarded a rank, however, may take the test again.
You may remain an unranked member until a command officer removes you.
-
2.2
Player Ranks
-
Sergeant
This
is the lowest rank in the clan, 5 positive deeds are required for an
officer to consider your promotion, and a score of 5 in the initiates
test will mean automatic promotion. This rank has an authority rating of
10.
-
Lieutenant
This
is a low clearance rank and is the first of the primary ranks. It has an
authority of 15; the primary ranks are ranks in which the bulk of the
players reside. This rank does not hold any command privileges. 25
positive deeds are required for promotion.
-
Captain
This
is a medium clearance rank and is the second of the primary ranks. It
has an authority rating of 20 and 45 positive deeds are required for
promotion, this rank can hold no command privileges.
-
Major
This
is a high clearance rank and holds an authority rating of 25, 70
positive deeds are required for promotion. This rank can hold command
privileges if a superior officer sees fit to award them to you.
-
Colonel
This
is the highest rank a player can achieve under normal circumstances; it
holds an authority rating of 30 and command privileges. A player with
100 positive deeds may challenge the current leadership.
-
2.3
Command Privileges
-
Commanding
Officer
A
ranking officer (Major or above) may opt to create his/her own unit,
usually only a Colonel will be successful in this and even then, only if
there are enough un-assigned players. The CO will then have full command
of that unit (see 3.1 Units).
-
Executive
Officer
This
title may be awarded to a ranking officer; this makes them second in
command of their unit. Their CO will specify their exact job
specification.
-
Ambassador
There
will be one ambassador in the clan who will arrange alliances and wars
with other clans. Any ranking officer may be given this title by the
clan General, and his/her performance will be monitored directly by
them.
-
2.4
Clan General
Any
Colonel with 100 positive deeds to t heir name may opt to become the Clan
General; the General will have full control over all aspects of the
clan. If a Colonel does opt to become General, there will be a vote
throughout the entire clan. Each member can vote for either party
(including the two parties themselves). Every member who votes gets a
vote level the same as their authority rating. After the election has
been open for a week, the votes will be counted and any member who has
not voted will receive a negative deed of 2 unless they are in vacation
mode.
-
3
Sub-divisions of leadership
-
3.1
Units
Units
are small sub-clans designed to remove some of the workload from the
Clan General and distribute it evenly throughout a series of
sub-commanders. Although the command structure depends largely on the
personal preference of the commanders, there are some common features.
-
3.2
Internal Competition
Each
unit may compete with other units inside the clan; the unit will have a
deed rating, which is the total number of deeds held by all members. Any
penalties or awards given to the unit will effect all members, I.e. if
it is seen fit that an entire unit should be awarded a medal or deeds,
all members of that unit will be given the bonus.
-
3.3
Ranking Officers
The
Clan General will have command of the entire clan and may make any
changes he/she sees fit for the good of the clan and will be supported
by his CO’s; the clan is divided between these CO’s in the form of
units. The CO’s will chose an XO from their unit to act as their
lieutenant, each CO will give his Xo specific duties. The primary ranks
will report to the unit XO, or depending on the specific command
structure of that unit, the CO.
-
4
Deeds Tally
-
4.1
Player deed rating
Deeds
are a method of recognising the achievements of clan members, if the
player performs a deed-worthy action, he may have points added or
deducted to his deed tally. A player’s deed tally will contribute to
their ranking in the clan.
-
4.2
Appropriate Deeds
Any
deed performed by a member may be worthy of a deed point, if a member
thinks they should be awarded a point, they should notify their CO or XO
(depending on specific unit tasks). The ambassador may receive points
for helping clan relations for example. Games played must be reported before
the game takes place, otherwise the player will not be awarded the
point – this is to prevent players not reporting unsuccessful battles.
If a player enters into battle, they will have their deed tally adjusted
afterwards according to their performance:
-
Successful
battle (between clan members): 1 point
Unsuccessful
battle: -1 point
Successful
battle with other clan: 2 points
Unsuccessful
battle with other clan: -2 points
Successful
league battle (will effect clans prestige): 5 points
Unsuccessful
league battle: -5 points
False
battle report: -20 points
-
4.3
Promotion and demotion
Although
a high deed rating will not mean certain promotion, when the deed tally
reaches the promotion level of that rank, the player will automatically
be suggested for promotion to their CO. If their performance then lacks,
they may be considered for demotion; however, there is no definite
demotion line for any rank.
-
5
Player Uniform
-
5.1
Clan Prefix
The
Clan Prefix identifies you as a member of the clan, it must be worn all
times the player is representing the clan. The prefix is put at the
start of your Game Spy Alias:
-
The
clan prefix is: [AT]
So,
if your player alias was: “Player”
Your
Game Spy Alias should be: “[AT]Player”
-
5.2
Campaign Medals
Campaign
medals are awarded to players who participated in a clan operation with
other members. These undertakings are usually given to entire units of
specialist groups, if a player receives a campaign medal, he/she will
usually also receive an award to their deed tally.
-
5.3
Specific Medals
These
medals are awarded for outstanding achievement and are not easy to come
by, although a CO may nominate one of his staff, only a General can give
an award of this nature. This will result in a significant award to the
player’s deed tally.
-
6

-
